| Charles M. Citrenbaum, Ph.D. is a
psychologist in private practice with a national reputation for his work in brief and
strategic therapeutic techniques, clinical hypnosis, stress management techniques and
creative communication strategies. Dr.
Citrenbaum has conducted workshops throughout the country, where he has trained thousands
of health professionals and others in the use of these techniques. He has taught at the
University of Maryland Professional Schools, Johns Hopkins University and other
universities nationwide. He is a member and past president of the Baltimore Psychological
Association, a Fellow of the Maryland Psychological Association and a member of the
American Psychological Association.
Dr. Citrenbaum has been a media guest locally and nationally.
Besides authoring numerous articles, chapters and tapes, Dr. Citrenbaum is co-author of
Existential Hypnotherapy (Guilford, 1993) and senior author of Modern Clinical Hypnosis
for Habit Control (W.W. Norton, 1985), considered the foremost text in the world on its
subject. He is also co-author of Irresistible Communication: Creative Skills for Health
Professionals (W.B. Saunders, 1983) and co-author of The Courage to Recover: A Reparenting
Recipe for Adult Children of the Human Condition (Copley Publishers, 1989).

Directions:
Don't use MapQuest, it gives terrible directions!
Instead, use these:
- Take Interstate 95 or any major connecting highway to
Interstate 695 (the Baltimore Beltway).
- Take Interstate 695 to Exit 23A, Interstate 83 South (also
known as the Jones Falls Expressway)
- Take Interstate 83 South approximately 3.5 miles to the first
exit, Northern Parkway.
- Exit on Northern Parkway and go East (left).
- At the next major intersection with a traffic light, Falls
Road, turn right.
- Go to the very next light and turn right into the Village of
Cross Keys.
- Proceed to the end of the driveway and turn left.
- Follow this road as it winds around to the right and then to
the left, past tennis courts on the right to the Quadrangle Building.
- Turn right at the driveway next to the Quadrangle Building and
go to the parking lot at the rear.
- Walk to the lobby of the East Quadrangle and take the elevator
to the third floor.
- Turn left out of the elevator and Suite 322 is on the right.
- In the waiting room, push the switch under Dr. Citrenbaum's
name to "on," and leave it in that position.
- Have a seat and he will be with you shortly.
